Although I had hoped we would be having Upic Week, our annual all-team meeting, in-person in 2021 Covid had other plans. As we continue to prioritize the health and safety of our team and their families, we elected to have Upic Week virtually once again! I owe a special thank you to the Upic engagement committee as we shifted from in-person to virtual a few times, but as usual our team made things easy and delivered an engaging, re-energizing virtual event. It even included a group trivia night with breakout rooms that made it feel like we were all sitting in our favorite hangout together answer team trivia!
Upic Week is not only a time to gather, learn, and set the direction for the year ahead, but it is also time to celebrate all we have accomplished. Even with the challenges of 2021 we had a lot to celebrate at Upic. Over 50 United Way’s have implemented CRM Lite in the past year! We launched two new shared services in accounting and human resources. We became certified advisors for QuickBooks, Bill.com, and Shared CRM. We were thankful to be able to celebrate 30 years of service to the United Way network by Don and Rhonda Bayne and 35 years by Charlene Hoffman.
